Temporary Rota Nanny – Hampshire (Potential for Permanent Placement)

A formal, fully staffed private household based in Hampshire is seeking an experienced and professional rota nanny to join their team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. The position is available for an immediate start through to September, with a required start date no later than the end of May.

This is a two-week on / two-week off rota position, primarily caring for a bright and active three-year-old girl. The ideal candidate will be energetic, engaging, and creative, with a genuine enthusiasm for supporting early childhood development through play and structured activities. The child is particularly active and enjoys outdoor play and physical activity, so a nanny who can match her energy and interests is essential.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the child’s day-to-day wellbeing, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment at all times.

This is a fully staffed household, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team is crucial. The family employs housekeepers, chefs, drivers, a house manager, a butler, and a personal assistant. There is also an eight-year-old boy in the household, who has his own nanny.

The family resides on a large private estate in Hampshire and will be travelling during the summer months. The nanny will be required to travel with the family during working weeks; all travel expenses will be covered, and return flights to the UK will be provided during off-duty periods.

Accommodation during working weeks consists of a private bedroom and bathroom. Candidates must also be comfortable around animals, as the family has a dog.

Salary: £70,000–£75,000 pro rata
