Ref AH142: Job Description: Full-Time Nanny (Live-in accommodation available) — Sevenoaks
Arthur’s House are working on behalf of a warm, busy family conducting their search for an exceptional, long-term nanny to care for three daughters aged 11, 9 and 6 (Years 7, 5 and 1).
The family have employed the same professional nanny since the birth of their second child and looking for the right person to continue the same high standards of care, routine, longevity and support.
Key details:
- Location: Sevenoaks with excellent transport links (approx. five minutes to Sevenoaks Station)
- Start date: Mid-August ideally but can be flexible for the right candidate
- Hours:
- Morning: 7:00am to 9:00am (school drop-offs)
- Afternoon: 3:30pm to 7:00pm (pick-ups, activities, supper and evening routine)
- Usual nanny duties through the day with breaks (this family would love for help with general organisation, sports kit and activities)
- Salary: Competitive dependent on experience and Live-in/Live-out situation
- Accommodation: A one-bedroom flat is available for the nanny, should live-in accommodation be preferred
- Confident driver (essential)
Role overview:
- Full-time nanny position supporting three school-aged children
- Focus on school runs, after-school care, general busy logistics and support with school work
Duties and responsibilities:
- School drop-offs and pick-ups
- Managing and supporting after-school activities (the children are sporty)
- Preparing and cooking healthy meals for the children
- Supporting homework and age-appropriate academic structure
- Encouraging music practice and routines (piano and flute a bonus)
- Maintaining excellent standards of care, organisation and communication
- Working collaboratively with parents, who have demanding professional schedules and international travel
Candidate requirements:
- Positive, proactive and energetic, with a genuine love of working with school-aged children
- Calm, capable and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility
- Organised and able to manage multiple schedules with ease
- Comfortable in a busy, active household
- Providing a warm, supportive and loving environment
Travel and holidays:
- No travel required in the role
- The family holidays flexibly, extended summer travel (including up to a month in the USA)
- Additional annual leave is given to the nanny each year (outside of term time)

- The family employs a housekeeper
- Pets: hamster
