Role: Daily Nanny (Temporary or Temp-to-Perm)

Days/Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (7:30am – 7:30pm), Tuesday (3:30pm – 7:30pm), Friday (babysitting)
Location: Marylebone (Baker Street / Edgware Road)
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 gross per annum (pro-rated for the temporary period)
Start Date: ASAP – July (with potential to extend long-term from September)

This is a warm, down-to-earth family based in Marylebone looking for a kind, organised and proactive nanny to join them on a temporary basis initially, with the option for the role to develop into a longer-term position for the right person. They have had a wonderful nanny for the past 2.5 years and are now looking for someone who can step in seamlessly, support the family over the coming months, and potentially continue with them longer term.

You will be caring for two lovely boys aged 6 and 8, who are close, affectionate and full of energy. They love reading, Minecraft, films, tennis and fencing, and enjoy being active and playful together (including the occasional wrestling match). They are curious, bright and very engaged, and thrive with someone who can match their energy while providing a calm and steady presence.

You will take the lead on all child-related responsibilities, supporting the boys in a healthy, happy and well-structured routine. This will include school runs, organising and accompanying activities, encouraging outdoor play, preparing nutritious meals, and creating a positive and engaging environment at home. Homework support is not a major focus, but a willingness to help where needed would be appreciated.

Alongside this, you will keep everything child-related running smoothly. You will help with organisation, making beds, managing laundry and ensuring the home feels tidy and well put together. There is a cleaner twice a week, so this is not a heavy housekeeping role, but someone who is naturally organised and takes pride in keeping things in order would suit the role well. You will also be confident cooking for the family, happy to follow recipes, and able to prepare healthy meals.

Both parents are very involved and hands-on. Dad travels regularly for work, and mum enjoys a close, collaborative relationship with the nanny, so someone personable who enjoys being part of a family dynamic will thrive here.

They are looking for someone warm, positive and kind, with a sense of humour and a genuine love for children. Someone who is reliable, flexible, and brings a calm but fun energy into the home. A French speaker would be a bonus, but is not essential.

The family are open and transparent and would be very happy for you to speak with their current nanny, who has had a very positive experience with them.
