We are looking for a nanny and home helper for our family of four, three days a week, from 0700 to 1830. The days to be worked are currently flexible, however we will not need a nanny on a Wednesday.

We have two lovely children; a boy age 4 years and a girl who will be 1 year in September. We are both shift workers and are looking for someone who can help manage our childcare needs and busy lives.

Primary duties will be caring for our children. This will include dropping our son off and picking him up from school (a 15 minute drive from home, therefore a driving licence is essential). During the day with our daughter, we would like someone fun and enthusiastic to support her development and provide loving care. After school we would like someone who can engage both children in constructive play and support with education (e.g. reading and homework).

On days where we are home due to our shift pattern, we will require less childcare support and would therefore appreciate help with household work such as laundry, batch cooking and light cleaning.

There is potential for flexible working, due to the nature of our work, which can be discussed with applicants. There is also the possibility of evening babysitting in exchange for daytime hours if mutually suitable.

We are looking for someone kind, compassionate, patient and fun, who can help support our children in there development.

Essential criteria: Driver's licence, car (we live rurally), enhanced DBS, paediatric first aid training, early years qualification, experience working with children (either as a nanny or in a nursery setting).
