Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)

A warm, modern, and welcoming family based in Istanbul are seeking an experienced, engaging live-in nanny to join them in a long-term role caring for their two young children, a bright and curious five-year-old daughter and her younger toddler brother.

The family are looking for someone kind, proactive, and naturally engaging, who genuinely enjoys supporting children’s development through imaginative play, conversation, learning, and age-appropriate activities. The role will focus primarily on English language development, educational support, and creating a stimulating and nurturing environment for both children within a fully staffed household.

The ideal candidate will be a highly fluent English speaker with substantial experience working within the British education system. Candidates with previous experience in UK schools, independent schools, nurseries, or other highly regarded educational settings would be particularly well suited to the role.

The family are ideally seeking a candidate with a recognised British professional childcare or education qualification, alongside a strong understanding of the British curriculum, early years development, and confident communication skills.

As the family live within an international environment and are based in Istanbul, they are seeking someone adaptable, culturally aware, and excited by the opportunity to become part of daily family life in Turkey. While not essential, an understanding of Turkish culture or conversational Turkish language skills would be considered a wonderful additional asset to the role.

The household is fully staffed with additional childcare support, a private chef, driver, and housekeeper, allowing the nanny to focus primarily on the children’s routines, development, education, and wellbeing. The family travel internationally throughout the year, so flexibility and previous travel experience would also be highly valued.
