Hummingbird Homestaff Ltd is seeking an exceptionally professional and highly experienced Full-Time Housekeeper for a busy private household based in Tunbridge Wells. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career housekeeper who takes enormous pride in maintaining immaculate standards and understands how to run a home efficiently, proactively, and discreetly.

The family are looking for someone polished, organised, trustworthy, and capable of managing all aspects of household upkeep to an extremely high standard. This role would suit someone with previous experience working within high-end private homes who naturally notices the finer details and takes initiative.

Duties will include:
Full housekeeping duties to immaculate standards
Deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Household organisation and maintaining a beautifully presented home
Managing household supplies and inventories
Liaising with and overseeing builders, contractors, and external tradespeople
Helping coordinate household maintenance and ensuring works are completed efficiently
Running errands and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the home
Occasional cooking or meal preparation would be a bonus
Requirements:
Extensive private housekeeping experience essential
Extremely high standards and strong attention to detail
Professional, discreet, and highly organised
Confident managing contractors and household maintenance schedules
Able to work independently and proactively
Driver preferred
DBS preferred or willing to obtain one
Excellent checkable references required
Position Details:
Monday–Friday
9am–6pm
£45,000–£50,000 salary
Permanent live-out role
