Role: Governess
Location: The Palm, Dubai
Schedule: Five days per week
Hours: 1:30pm – 7pm during term time, and 8am – 7pm during holidays
Salary: £800 – £1,000 net per week
Accommodation: Live-out preferred

A warm and education-focused family based in Dubai is seeking an experienced and energetic Governess to support their young son, who is currently in FS2 at a British curriculum school.

He is bright, sociable, and very active, and the family would love to Dind someone who can make learning engaging and enjoyable. Mum is hands-on but would like additional educational support from someone patient, organised, and creative.

You will provide educational support aligned with the British curriculum, helping with reading, writing, numeracy, and general school preparation. The focus is on encouraging curiosity and confidence through structured study and interactive learning.

You’ll work closely with the family to ensure consistency between home and school, planning fun and educational activities that stimulate his mind while keeping things light and enjoyable.

Strong spoken English is essential, and French would be an advantage. You should be energetic enough to keep up with an active child and bring a warm, steady presence to his daily routine.

The household is fully staffed, so your role will centre entirely on his care, learning, and development - no cooking or cleaning required. You’ll also accompany the family on trips abroad, mainly to Europe, during school holidays.

Ideally, you are already based in Dubai and confident driving would be a plus.
