A warm and well-established family based in South Kensington are seeking an experienced French-speaking daily nanny to support the care and development of their two young children, a boy aged 1 and a girl aged 3.

This is a long-term position within a fully staffed household, where the previous nanny remained with the family for three years. The environment is stable, respectful, and well-organised, offering a supportive setting in which to work.

The role centres around creating a calm, engaging, and structured day for both children, tailored to their differing developmental stages. The eldest is curious, social, and increasingly independent, while the youngest is in an important phase of early development, benefiting from a nurturing and attentive approach.

With both parents working, you will take on a confident, proxy-parenting role during the day. You will support development through play, conversation, and exploration, with a particular focus on French language immersion in a natural, consistent way.

Duties will include planning age-appropriate activities, supporting early learning, maintaining routines, and overseeing all nursery-related responsibilities. A thoughtful approach to behaviour, alongside an interest in child development, is highly valued. Familiarity with Montessori or similar child-led philosophies would be a bonus, though not essential.

The family are looking for someone warm, organised, and proactive- someone who takes pride in their role and enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships with the children in their care.

A handover period with the current nanny will take place from May to ensure a smooth and considered transition.
