An overseas maternity nurse role in Switzerland supporting a second-time family with a 2-week-old baby, focusing on routine, reassurance and attentive newborn care, starting as soon as possible.


Job Summary

This is a sensitive, family-focused role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who is calm, attentive and able to provide reassuring, consistent support. A warm and family-oriented household based in Switzerland are seeking an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them with their 2-week-old baby on an ASAP basis. An EU passport is essential.

The baby has recently spent time in NICU, and as a result, mum is understandably very focused on hygiene and attentive care. The family are looking for a maternity nurse who is highly conscientious, able to follow clear hygiene protocols and provide focused, attentive support to both baby and parents. The baby is bottle fed, and the family would value support in establishing a gentle routine while ensuring the baby remains settled and content. Mum is keen to work with someone calm, patient and understanding, who can offer reassurance while being respectful of her concerns and preferences. This role will suit a maternity nurse who is warm, honest and hands-on, with a natural ability to integrate into family life and support a positive, calm environment. There will be some travel within Europe, and the role requires a candidate who is flexible and comfortable travelling.
