Part-Time Cook & Housekeeper – Islington, London

We are a Dutch/Turkish family based in Islington, looking for a reliable part-time cook and housekeeper to support us. Both parents work full-time and our toddler attends nursery. Our current housekeeper is moving outside London and we are looking for someone to step into a similar role.

Hours: 2 half days per week preferred (or 1 full day)
Start date: May 2026
Salary: £21/hour

What the role involves:
• Preparing healthy, home-cooked meals. We eat plenty of vegetables and love Mediterranean-style cuisine but are not strictly vegetarian.
• Light housekeeping to keep the home tidy and running smoothly

What we're looking for:
• A genuine love of cooking, ideally with confidence in vegetable-rich Mediterranean or Turkish cuisine
• Comfortable with autonomy including choosing recipes and doing online or local food shopping
• Reliable, trustworthy and proactive around the home
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
