Lovely returning Family in West London (Ealing) are seeking a full time, live in Nanny to join them. The role is caring for two gorgeous boys who are 11 and 9!



The hours are 7.30am-10am - 3pm till 7.30pm during term time and 7.30am - 7.30pm in the school holidays. The Family also have 1 night of babysitting included in the contract Monday-Thursday.



Both of the children are in full-time school and so, in reality, during term time the start and finish times will be the same but the job will involve giving the children breakfast and dropping them off at school and then picking them up followed by activities or homework, supper and bath time. This will provide the Nanny with some “downtime” during the day when the children are at school and once you’ve completed your nursery duties the Family are very happy for the Nanny to head to the gym or meet friends during the day, on the condition that they are available for the boys if they are sick or in case of emergency.



This is a busy but fun-filled and loving household and they are looking for a Nanny who is energetic, organised, affectionate and responsible. The parents work full time in demanding jobs and are looking for a nanny who will give the love, attention, enthusiasm, and care to their children that they are unable to give during the weekdays. They are looking for a nanny who is independently minded and who is comfortable to take the lead with the children's activities, homework, meals etc. but who communicates well with them to ensure that they consistently maintain their core parenting values. The role will include all standard Nanny duties including preparing meals and snacks for the boys. The Family has a housekeeper who attends for two full days a week and takes complete charge of the cleaning and housekeeping (including the nanny's quarters).



The boys are inquisitive, smart, kind, polite and well-mannered. Both children are sport mad and enjoy playing football, rugby, swimming and tennis. The little one is obsessed with dinosaurs and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the various species which he frequently likes to test grown-ups on. The older boy loves to read and often sneaks off to hide with a good book. The children enjoy going on day trips to the park or museums but also having playdates with friends and exploring new activities. They equally really enjoy a quiet cuddle and a book at the end of the day.



The Family have annual family membership to London zoo and Kew Gardens, which they would include the nanny on. They also have a family property on the south coast of Spain that they frequently go to for long weekends and holidays and would welcome the nanny joining them for a break if she would like to.



The nanny’s room is situated on the top floor of the house away from the rest of the family with a separate, large bathroom with a bath and shower. The room is fully furnished with a double bed, storage (wardrobes etc.) seating area and television.



The family are welcoming a puppy in June and would love if the nanny can help out with dog walking.
