A family in Cheshunt is seeking a full time nanny for their son - this is Monday to Friday
He is 21 months old and has downs syndrome. As such he has regular medical appointments meaning you wouldnt be needed as parents take him
They commit to 35 hours per week - this would typically be Mon-Fri 9-5, but could be anything from 8am-6pm Mon-Fri:
Example - if he has appointments on Monday + Friday, you may work 9-12 those days - so Tues, Wed, Thurs would be 8-6 to complete the hours
Any weeks where you work less than 35 hours, you'll of course still be paid your 35 hour salary. Any weeks where you work more than 35 hours, those additional hours will be paid overtime
This is a long term position to start ASAP
Parents work from home part time, so there will be one home each day
They offer £15-£17ph which is £27.5k-£31k per annum
Ofsted registration is needed (they'll pay annual fee)
A driver is needed, they can provide a duty car
No pets
He has no allergies but can be a tricky eater!
Typical nanny duties only
He has a playgroup he enjoys and a speech and language therapy class - otherwise the role is mostly home based initially
This role requires a patient nanny who is understanding of his learning being behind the norm, who is keen to nurture him and help him develop
This role will not suit a NWOC
