Housekeeper
A full time, daily housekeeper role supporting a private family in Notting Hill, suited to a professional candidate experienced in maintaining high standards across multiple properties within a structured household
Job Summary:
This is a structured, long term role suited to an experienced housekeeper seeking stability, professionalism, and a well-managed working environment within a private household.
The role is based within a private family home in Notting Hill, working alongside an additional housekeeper on set days. The household operates with clear structure and expectations, and the successful candidate will report directly to the House Manager.
The main residence is a five level property with four bedrooms, alongside a secondary two bedroom flat located within a one minute walk. On Tuesdays and Fridays, part of the working day will involve maintaining this additional property.
This is a long term, full time position requiring a candidate who is confident working both independently and collaboratively, with the ability to manage responsibilities across multiple properties.
Job specification:
• General cleaning and organisation of a five-level private home
• Changing bed linen and maintaining bedroom standards
• Laundry and ironing to a high standard
• Hoovering and dusting throughout the property
• Occasional preparation of tea and coffee
• Walking two well-behaved, medium-sized dogs
• Coordinating with tradespeople and overseeing deliveries
• Reporting maintenance issues and updates to the House Manager
• Assisting with upkeep of a secondary two-bedroom flat twice weekly
• Answering the door and supporting with general household tasks as required
Candidate specification:
• Proven experience as a housekeeper within a private household or similar environment
• Confident working across multiple properties
• Strong communication skills and ability to report effectively to a House Manager
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
• Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented
• Pet-friendly and confident around dogs
• Professional, reliable, and discreet
