A lovely family based in Camberwell is seeking an experienced and confident nanny to care for their baby, who will be 6 months old at the start of the role. This is a part-time position with flexibility on working days, offering a collaborative environment alongside the mother during the early months.

Children
• 1 child – 6 months old (at start)

Working Hours
• 3 days per week (flexible – nanny can choose days)
• 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
• Total: 30 hours per week

Salary
• £19 to £22 gross per hour
• Weekly gross: £570 – £660

Role Overview
This is a shared-care role initially, working alongside the mother who is currently at home. The position will gradually transition towards more sole-charge responsibility as the mother returns to work.

The family is looking for a highly experienced nanny with strong knowledge of infant care, feeding routines, and early development stages.

Main Responsibilities
• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the baby
• Work in partnership with the mother in a shared-care capacity
• Support the baby’s daily routine and development
• Ensure a safe and stimulating environment

Nanny Duties
• Bottle feeding and feeding routine management
• Supporting and managing sleep routines
• Nappy changing and hygiene care
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Monitoring developmental milestones
• Supporting weaning and introduction of solids
• Taking the baby out for walks and fresh air

Maternity/Newborn Duties
• Supporting weaning process and feeding transitions
• Maintaining consistent routines
• Adapting care as the baby develops

Child-related Housekeeping
• Keeping nursery and baby areas clean and organised
• Baby laundry and wardrobe organisation
• Cleaning and sterilising bottles and feeding equipment
• No deep cleaning

Requirements
• Extensive experience with babies (6 months+)
• Confident in shared-care roles
• Strong knowledge of weaning and infant development
• Proactive, calm, and reliable
• Must be comfortable with dogs
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
• DBS check (preferred)
