A warm and welcoming family based in Islington, London, are seeking a caring and reliable nanny to join them from 27th April on a long-term basis. The role involves caring for two young children aged 6 and nearly 4, providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can thrive.
The position is Monday to Friday, with working hours of 12:30pm to 6:30pm during term time, increasing to 8:30am to 6:30pm during school holidays. The family will annualise the salary to ensure consistent pay throughout the year. Occasional babysitting will also be required once or twice a month.
The role includes all standard childcare duties such as preparing healthy meals, making lunchboxes, taking care of children’s laundry and supporting dinner, bath time and evening routines. During school holidays the nanny is expected to organise age appropriate activities, as well as the usual duties. A housekeeper is employed daily, so there is no expectation for heavy household duties beyond those related to the children. The nanny will also be responsible for school pick-ups, with the school located approximately a 20-minute walk from the family home.
The family are looking for someone dependable, kind, and energetic, with a positive and caring personality and will enjoy the company of two bubbly little girls. They would love a nanny who genuinely enjoys spending time with children, is happy to get involved in play and activities, and can help create a happy and positive home environment. Someone who enjoys cooking is a bonus as the girls are keen eaters! While solid childcare experience is preferred, the family places great emphasis on finding the right personality fit—someone who can become a valued and trusted part of their household over time and slot into family life.
No driving is required for this position. There will also be opportunities to travel with the family, including trips to Paris, the South of France, and skiing holidays. While not essential, a nanny who is open and able to accompany them on the majority of these trips would be highly desirable.

They are offering a salary of £22-£25 gross per hour (DOE) which annualised is: £43,000 - £48,000 gross per annum.
