This lovely family based in Den Haag are seeking a highly experienced, professional Nanny / Family Assistant for a long-term, live-out position starting from late April 2026. The role is Monday to Thursday, 07:30 to 17:30, totalling approximately 40 hours per week. A competitive salary of around £60,600 gross per annum is offered for the right candidate.

The family have two young boys, aged nearly 7 and 3.5, and are looking for a calm, grounded and emotionally intelligent nanny who can take full charge of their daily care, development and routines. The ideal candidate will bring a structured yet warm approach, combining strong pedagogical understanding with a natural ability to connect with children, guide behaviour positively, and create a stable, nurturing environment. The family follow a conscious and balanced parenting style, valuing emotional awareness, clear boundaries and a consistent daily rhythm, and are keen to find someone who aligns with this ethos.

The role will involve planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, encouraging outdoor time each day in all weather, and supporting the children’s social, emotional and educational development, including school-related activities as they grow. Alongside childcare, the nanny will take responsibility for maintaining a smooth household flow, including organising the children’s belongings, managing lunchboxes, keeping shared areas tidy, and assisting with light household duties throughout the day.

A key part of the role will be preparing healthy, balanced meals for the whole family, not just the children, as well as assisting with weekly grocery planning and household organisation. Over time, as both children attend school full-time, the role will naturally evolve into a broader Family Assistant position, incorporating responsibilities such as diary management, household organisation, liaising with cleaners, family laundry, and supporting with events and general household logistics.

The family are looking for someone highly organised, proactive and dependable, with a positive attitude and a respectful, professional manner. A confident driver is essential for daily duties, and candidates must live within a maximum one-hour commute. Dutch fluency language skills are required, and a background in childcare or a relevant qualification would be highly advantageous.
