A warm and caring family relocating to Heusden-Zolder “Next to the border of Netherlands” is looking for an experienced, confident and dedicated live-in/live-out nanny for their youngest son (B2 years) in a long-term position starting mid-April/May. The family is seeking a nanny who can provide calm guidance, strong pedagogical skills, warmth, and clear boundaries.

* Schedule: 4 fixed working days per week (3 weekdays + 1 weekend day) | 1 guaranteed weekend day off | flexibility required

Role description:

This role requires a reliable and nurturing nanny who will take over the daily care and routine within a structured and supportive family environment. The parents are hands-on but expect the nanny to independently manage the day-to-day guidance and care. The family is looking for a nanny who can work calmly, consistently, and pedagogically strong, offering structure, clarity, and emotional guidance in the child’s upbringing. (The child attends school/daycare from Tuesday to Thursday, 09:00–15:00.) Occasional travel with the family may be requested.

Responsibilities:

* Managing the morning routine (wake-up, breakfast, getting ready)
* School drop-off and pick-up
* Structuring the after-school routine
* Organizing active and stimulating activities (outdoor play, ball games, cars)
* Providing emotional guidance and consistent discipline
* Cooking for the child (and possibly for the family)

Light Household duties:

* Tidying and maintaining general cleanliness
* Vacuuming
* Keeping the kitchen and dining table organized
* Laundry and ironing (including child-related laundry)
* Maintaining general order and hygiene standards (handwashing routines, shoes off indoors, overall neatness)

Ideal nanny profile:

* Minimum 4–5 years of experience as a nanny
* Strong pedagogical skills and emotional intelligente
* Confident, structured and consistent
* Active and energetic
* Warm, positive and engaged
* Flexible mindset
* Open to nanny-share arrangements
* First Aid knowledge and certification
* Driving license required (car will be provided).
