A lovely, down-to-earth family based in Virginia Water are looking for an experienced rota nanny to join them on a 2-weeks-on / 2-weeks-off live-in basis. Your counterpart has been with the family for 4 years and recommends the family.
This is a calm and happy home with no other live-in staff, caring for one bright and engaging 5-year-old girl. The family are keen to find someone warm, reliable, and genuinely passionate about working with children—someone who will become a trusted and consistent presence in their daughter’s life.
During your working weeks, you’ll have sole charge and will take the lead in managing her day-to-day routine, learning, and overall wellbeing.

What the role involves
• Sole charge care of a happy 5-year-old girl
• Managing her daily routine, including mornings, school prep, and bedtime
• Supporting her learning through fun, engaging activities (reading, early maths, creative play)
• Keeping her learning journal updated
• School runs and taking her to clubs or activities
• Planning fun outings, playdates, and after-school time
• Preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks
• Keeping her bedroom, clothes, and play areas tidy and organised
• Helping with light tasks related to her care
• Working closely with parents and the other nanny to keep things consistent
• Joining the family on occasional trips if needed

• You’re warm, calm, and naturally nurturing
• You’re organised and confident taking full responsibility when on duty
• You have solid nanny experience (rota experience is a bonus)
• You enjoy supporting early learning and development
• You’re proactive and happy to get involved in all aspects of the role
• You’re professional, discreet, and respectful of family life
• You speak fluent English and communicate clearly
