The Family

A lovely couple are expecting their first baby, due June 2026. They are welcoming their first child and are seeking a calm, experienced maternity nanny to support them through the early months.

Location

June – August: Surrey (property in Godalming, just outside Guildford) during the mother’s maternity leave
Post-August: London (Holland Park) as the mother returns to work
Travel: Ad hoc travel back to Surrey as needed; nanny may accompany the family with notice
Role & Responsibilities

Support first-time parents with newborn care, focusing on establishing routines (sleep, feeding, and general baby care)
Provide flexible assistance during the first 2 months to help mother settle into routine
After initial 2 months: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–6:00 pm
Be proactive, nurturing, and confident with newborns
Light household assistance relating to the baby may be required
Requirements

Previous experience with first-time parents and newborns essential
Ability to provide guidance on routines, sleep, and feeding
Calm, patient, and approachable personality
Flexible and adaptable, especially during the first few months
