Job Summary

Based in Perth, Scotland, this position is with a private family expecting their first baby. Baby likely to be born via a c-section, although the date is not yet confirmed. The family are looking for a maternity nurse who can provide steady, practical support during the newborn stage, without creating an overly formal or prescriptive environment.

This role will suit a candidate who is relaxed, kind, and capable of offering reassurance, guidance, and day-to-day help to parents who do not have family support close by. The mother would like to be hands-on, so the role requires a professional who can work collaboratively, support parental confidence, and adapt to the family’s preferred feeding approach once this has been decided. Light household support, including simple cooking, will also be appreciated.
