Overview

A warm and busy family of four based in Weybridge are seeking a reliable, proactive, and child-friendly housekeeper to support the smooth running of their home. The role is primarily focused on housekeeping (around 80%), with some light childcare duties.

The family have two school-aged children (8 and 10 years old) and are looking for someone who enjoys being around children and is happy to become a valued part of the household.
Working Hours
Total: ~10 hours per week
One day: 6 hours (approximately 11:00am–5:00pm)
One additional day: 4 hours (morning or afternoon)
Days are flexible to suit the right candidate
One regular school pick-up per week and a drop-off to Brownies
Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Duties (approx. 80%):
General cleaning and tidying throughout a five-bedroom home and in-garden office
Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
Changing bed linen (three bedrooms)
Maintaining organisation of household spaces
Running small errands for the family

Child-Related Duties (approx. 20%):
One school pick-up per week
Drop-off to Brownies
Preparing simple, healthy meals (primarily for the children, occasionally for adults)
Creating a warm and supportive presence in the home
Candidate Requirements
Prior housekeeping experience in a private household
Child-friendly, warm, and approachable personality
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Organised, detail-oriented, and reliable
Happy to learn and follow the family’s routines and preferences
DBS check (essential)
Driver preferred but not essential
