Salary: £21 to £24 gross per hour, depending on experience
Hours Required: Approximately 12 hours per week, ideally spread across three visits of around 4 hours each. Monday, Wednesday and Friday would work well for the family, they are flexible on days and timings. The main priority is spreading the hours across the week rather than grouping them together. There is potential for the hours to increase in the future as the household needs grow.
Start Date: Ideally, as soon as possible; the family is flexible for the right candidate.
Driver: No driver required
Overview
A friendly family based in Hackney are seeking a reliable and organised Housekeeper to help maintain their home and support the smooth running of daily household life.
The role is primarily focused on professional housekeeping and household organisation. While the position is not a nanny-led role, the family would welcome someone who is comfortable around a young child and able to provide occasional light childcare support if required.
The family live in a modernised Victorian terraced home and is looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a well-organised and well-run household.
This role would suit a professional housekeeper who enjoys taking ownership of household tasks and helping reduce the day-to-day mental load for busy parents.
Key Responsibilities
• General housekeeping including daily cleaning and periodic deeper cleaning
• Laundry and ironing
• Bed making and maintaining tidy living areas
• Household organisation and tidying
• Managing household tasks and identifying what needs attention
• Plant watering
• Possible light cooking if required
• Occasional childcare support as the role develops

Requirements
• Previous experience working in a private household
• Strong attention to detail and high housekeeping standards
• Organised and able to take initiative
