Job Summary: This is a great opportunity for a nanny who loves babies. Working for a professional single mum caring for her twin girls. The home is set in beautiful grounds and there is a separate flat for you to live in. The twins are on a great schedule and in a good routine, the nanny who is hired will be someone who thrives on routine and structure, who can help with development. The ideal nanny will ensure the twins are engaged in educational play to stimulate their development, someone who naturally encourages curiosity, confidence, and creativity through play, reading, and outdoor activities.

Extra information: This is a sole parent household, and a degree of flexibility will be needed at times. The main home is a beautiful Grade 2 listed home in the countryside, with an outdoor pool, and set in circa 20 acres; a driver is essential due to the location.

Job specification:
• Mix of dual and sole care
• Provide attentive, fun, loving care and supervision for twins
• Following the girls’ daily routines that are in place
• Plan and participate in engaging and age-appropriate activities including researching the local area for clubs and groups that will support the different milestones
• Travel with the family between their main home near Grantham and their home in London, as well as international travel for holidays
• Ensure the child’s wellbeing, safety, and emotional development
• Normal nursery duties, including keeping their bedroom tidy and organised, responsible for their laundry (including ironing) and keeping their play areas tidy
• Responsible for weaning - preparing nutritious meals for the girls

Candidate specification:
• Happy to provide support and guidance alongside mum, with a mix of dual and sole care
• Must have experience working with babies, strong preference for twin or multiple children that are close in age
• Someone who is emotionally intelligent, fun, patient, organized and loving, who has proven longevity in previous roles and is looking for a long-term position
• Must be confident in all the developmental stages including weaning and potty training
• Confident driver
• Confident swimmer
• Must be happy to work in a home with pets (the family have a small dog)
• Good communication skills and able to communicate effectively with the mother and other staff

Enhanced dbs. dated within the year and paediatric first aid will be required at offer stage.
