A maternity nurse role in Norfolk supporting first-time parents with their newborn, providing guidance, feeding support and helping establish gentle early routines, starting in late July 2026


Job Summary
This is a supportive role suited to an experienced maternity nurse who enjoys guiding first-time parents and helping them settle confidently into life with their newborn.
A first-time family based in Swannington, near Norwich, are seeking an experienced maternity nurse to support them during the early weeks following the arrival of their baby. The booking will begin with one week of 24-hour support, followed by a week’s break, and then continue for approximately six weeks with either a few nights per week or two 24-hour shifts depending on the candidate’s availability and the family’s needs. The parents would value a knowledgeable and reassuring professional who can help guide them through feeding, settling and establishing gentle daily rhythms. As the weeks progress, the maternity nurse will help the family build confidence and make small adjustments to routines so the baby gets off to a positive and settled start.
