Weekend Rota Nanny, Chelsea

A weekend rota position averaging 30 hours per working weekend. The family seeks an exceptional, professional nanny to deliver developmentally focused care within an established household team.

Schedule:
- Friday: 7:45am – 10:00pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Nannies alternate weekends; flexibility is appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sole-charge care of both children across the weekend
- Confident care of a 3-month-old baby alongside an active 2-year-old
- Managing all aspects of the children’s routines, including feeding, naps, hygiene, and bedtime on Fridays
- Administering meals prepared in advance
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate, stimulating, and developmentally focused activities
- Maintaining exceptional standards of childcare and organisation throughout the weekend
- Working seamlessly with the weekday nanny and housekeeper to ensure continuity
- Demonstrating strong initiative and a proactive, detail-oriented approach
- Ensuring the children’s safety, wellbeing, and emotional security at all times
- Providing clear handovers and communication to parents and weekday staff

Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience with very young babies (including infants under 6 months)
- Proven confidence caring for toddlers alongside infants
- Highly organised, meticulous, and thorough in approach
- Calm, capable, and professional under sole-charge responsibility
- Strong emotional intelligence and discretion
- Team-oriented mindset with experience working in staffed households
- Excellent references
- Fluent English

Additional Information:
- Driving not required.
- Start date: ASAP (temporary cover considered during the search).
- Compensation: Extremely competitive for the right candidate (up to £30 gph)
