Experienced and nurturing Rota Nanny sought to assist a lovely family based in Vienna, Austria to care primarily for one baby aged 7 months, with occasional care for a 3 year old stepbrother who visits around every 6 weeks. This is a long term opportunity working on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off schedule (with occasional 3 week rotations during extended travel). The nanny will provide attentive, developmentally focused care, supporting routines, naps, and early learning through age-appropriate play, movement, and exploration, ideally with knowledge of Montessori-inspired approaches. Responsibilities include all nursery duties such as preparing healthy meals for the child, organising activities and outings, maintaining tidy play and living areas, assisting with the child’s laundry and organisation, and ensuring smooth daily routines. Must be pet friendly as the family have a small dog. The ideal candidate will be warm, calm, proactive, organised, and discreet, with a genuine passion for child development. Additional languages such as German, French or Italian would be a bonus. EU work eligibility required. During the child's first year, the nanny will sleep in the baby’s room to assist with night settling, transitioning to a private bedroom and bathroom once the child turns one. he family enjoys frequent travel including yacht holidays; therefore the nanny should be comfortable travelling internationally and adapting to different environments. Must be a confident swimmer. Interviews to commence immediately for a mind April start (with some flexibility up until June). Offering a salary of £70,000 - £75,000gpa depending on experience.
