Are you a nanny with experience caring for babies from five months old? Seeking a role with opportunities for growth?

A welcoming family seeks a reliable and experienced nanny with calm energy to provide nurturing, attentive care for a baby born in December 2025. You will support the child’s development, teach life skills, and encourage independence.

Role: Initially as a nanny. The baby may start daycare for a few half days per week within the first year. During this time, some family assistant or household duties may be included. The role will become sole charge when the Mum returns to work in June 2026.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9–6 or 8–5. Proxy parenting may be needed once per quarter.
Commitment: 9–12 months, with reassessment.
Requirements: EU passport or Dutch residence permit.

Responsibilities:

Provide loving care and support age-appropriate milestones

Encourage good sleep habits and maintain a flexible routine

Grocery shop, prepare, and batch cook baby meals when weaning

Daily walks, sensory play, reading, singing; later introduce outings and classes

Maintain a tidy nursery and family space

Collaborate with parents, communicate openly, and offer professional input

Experience & Skills:

High level of English (Dutch a plus)

Minimum 4 years childcare experience; prior nanny experience with babies

Knowledgeable in sleep routines, weaning, potty training, first aid

Comfortable with breast and bottle-fed babies

Strong communication skills

Additional Details:

Travel with family and pet-friendly a plus

Live-out role; accommodation not provided

Dad works from home a few days/week; Mum may work from home on Fridays

Cycling bakfiets/mamafiets a plus

Interviews via Zoom; paid trial days 25 April–5 May

Employment arranged by family

Agency Requirements:

4 years full-time childcare

Valid pediatric first aid

Police check/DBS with update

Written references + 3 verbal references
