A wonderful family in Teddington are looking for a temporary, full time nanny for their sweet five year old child.

The family are expecting their second child in April and will be employing a Maternity Nurse.

The ideal candidate will be positive, adaptable and proactive, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s development. Experience working with SEN children is highly desirable, and the family would particularly value a nanny who is patient, emotionally attuned, and confident supporting a child who may require additional understanding and consistency.

They are looking for a nanny who is energetic and engaging, confident planning enriching activities that support educational and emotional development, and able to take initiative in structuring the child’s day. The right candidate will be warm yet confident with boundaries, able to build a strong and trusting relationship, and naturally curious about each child’s individual character and needs.

Responsibilities include: supporting with some homeschooling activities such as reading and handwriting practice, organising engaging and developmentally supportive activities both inside and outside of the home, learning the families flexible routine to provide continuity for the child, cooking healthy meals for the child, nursery duties such as completing the child's laundry, keeping children areas and toys tidy etc.

The family are also looking for a nanny who is a confident driver (if they were to have their own car this would be a bonus but not a necessity).

Start Date: ASAP for one - two months with the potential to extend at the families discretion
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
Salary: £22 - £25 gross per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
