Job Summary:
A warm and welcoming family in Berlin is seeking a native English-speaking nanny to join them full-time from July 2026, with a live-in arrangement commencing in August 2026 when they move into their new home. The family has three young children (ages 5, 2, and a newborn due in March 2026) and is looking for long-term, stable support. This is a hybrid role combining childcare and household organisation, working alongside an existing housekeeper.
The successful candidate will provide primary care for the baby during the day while supporting the older children with their daily routines, activities, and school runs. In addition to childcare, the role includes cooking, light housekeeping, and occasional house management responsibilities. The family values warmth, reliability, and a proactive approach, and hopes to find someone who will become a consistent and trusted presence in their children’s lives.

General Duties:
• Full daytime care of the baby
• Supporting older children with dressing, meals, play, and outings
• School/nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
• Managing children’s schedules and routines
• Babysitting and evening support (approximately two evenings per week)
• Preparing simple, healthy meals and meal prep (shellfish allergy in household)
• Children’s laundry and light household laundry
• Tidying play areas and maintaining organised spaces
• Household organisation and occasional light house management

Candidate Requirements:
• Native English speaker (fluent English essential)
• Proven experience with babies and multiple young children
• Warm, calm, and reliable personality
• Organised and proactive
• Comfortable in a hybrid nanny/housekeeper role
• Driver’s licence preferred
• Flexible with working hours (5 days per week, 10–12 hours per day, early starts)
• Seeking a long-term position
