A confident and knowledgeable English speaking nanny who is very experienced with newborns is sought. Ideal candidates are confident with sole charge but happy with shared care as the Mum will be around. This is a live out role, accommodation is not provided.

It’s vital you have an EU passport or Dutch residence permit for this role.

Your schedule will be four days a week, any four weekdays work well for the family. They would like the nanny to work eight hours a day starting from 7am or 8am or 9am (any of those times work for the family).

The sweet baby boy is eating and sleeping well. He is breast and bottle feed.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive care to the baby throughout the day
Support age-appropriate developmental milestones
When the baby is ready for weaning, prepare healthy baby meals
Leave the house tidy and organised at the end of the day
Duties will include care of the baby, all standard nursery duties, washing bottles and tidying up after yourself and the baby.

Candidates need:
Extensive experience working with newborns
Confident being decisive, proactive and excellent communication skills
Strong intuition and good judgment in caring for children
Confident in supporting first-time parents and happy to share expertise respectfully
Good general knowledge of infant development, sleep needs, and feeding
Have good hygiene values.

If you are open to occasional travel that’s a plus but not a requirement.

The initial contract will be seven months with the possibility of extending (if it’s a good match) as they would like a nanny until the child turns two.

It’s a plus not a requirement if you drive.

Interviews and trials are happening immediately, they would like the nanny to start ASAP.

The family will arrange employment for the nanny.

The family is looking for someone reliable, discreet and professional. They live an eight minute walk from Regenboogbuurt Noord, Almere Buiten. There is also free parking available. It’s important you are happy working in a house with animals as they have a cat.

The role will combine sole charge and shared care; you need to be confident with both.

Agency requirements:
3 years of full-time professional childcare experience
Valid pediatric first aid
A recent police check or DBS, and the DBS update system
Written references and a minimum of 3 verbal references.
