Super Opportunity for a Full Time, Live Out Housekeeper in Ivybridge Devon.
An amazing position for a hands on, practical, homely, traditional housekeeper in a sweet town just outside Ivybridge in Devon. The family need someone who has experience in making preserves, chutney’s and ferments as well as general housekeeping duties. These will include, laundry inc. ironing, cleaning the home and deep cleaning experience. Other duties to include keeping the pantry stocked, some gardening too. In the home there are 5 children who are between 10 months and 10 years they need a kind person to be around too, as there maybe some childcare too.
The family need someone who understand cleaning of fine fabrics and antique items and cleaning using non chemical based products.
The position is live out, however if the right person was to come along they would consider live in.

Location of the job: Nr Ivybridge, Devon
Minimum experience Level for this job: 2yrs+ in housekeeping
Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS and first aid is essential on application.
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: no formal qualifications are necessary, but a good knowledge of food preparation and preserve making is essential.
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Hours of work: 10am – 6pm but flexibility is essential.
Driving required: Driver required – car for work use.
Job Start Date: ASAP
Pay: From £47,840 per year GROSS (£23phr) neg for right candidate (depending on experience) and qualifications.
