1-day a week Nanny for Newborn

Position Overview

Our client family in Earlsfield is seeking an experienced, caring, and nurturing part-time nanny to care for their 13-week-old baby girl. This role offers 1 days per week (flexible day between Monday-Friday) and is available on an ongoing, indefinite basis.

About the Family:
The family consists of parents and their young daughter. They are located in Earlsfield with excellent access to public transportation. The family values experienced caregivers and previously had a wonderful relationship with their night nanny, seeking similar qualities in their day nanny.

Position Details:
- Schedule: 1 day per week, flexible between Monday-Friday 8am - 5/6pm
- Duration: Ongoing, indefinite position
- Location: Earlsfield, close to public transport links
- Salary: £20-25 gross per hour (dependent on experience)
- Employment type: Permanent contract or consultant/contractor arrangement (depending on candidate's working pattern with other families)
- Start date: ASAP
- Pets: two long haired cats
- Travel: Some potential travel opportunities with the family

Key Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
- Provide attentive, loving care for a newborn baby
- Take baby to classes and activities as appropriate
- Support with weaning process (starting in the coming months)
- Manage formula feeding routine
- Establish and maintain consistent daily routines for baby
- Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress to parents
- Prepare bottles and sterilise feeding equipment
- Support nap schedules and sleep routines
- Engage baby in age-appropriate play and sensory activities

Household Support:
- Baby laundry
- Maintain nursery cleanliness and organisation
- Run errands related to baby care (e.g., picking up supplies)
- Organise baby items by size in cupboards and storage areas
- Light housekeeping tasks related to baby care during nap times

Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience caring for young babies and newborns
- Knowledge and experience with weaning processes

- Reliable and trustworthy
- Comfortable working independently
