Ref: 1980, French-speaking Nanny – Islington (N1)

We are looking for a warm, reliable, and energetic French-speaking nanny to support a lovely family in Islington (N1) with their two children, aged 3 and 5.

Main Responsibilities :

Collect children from the school next to the home
Take them to afterschool activities 2/3 times a week (swimming. Ballet & music, all within 10-20 mins walk/bus
Prepare vegetarian snacks and meals
Plan and lead fun, educational or art/craft activities tailored to their age and development.
Ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
Actively help them develop their French language skills
Hours :

Monday to Friday, 3:15 PM to 6:45 PM (after-school role).
During school holidays hours might change slightly around holiday clubs (e.g. 4pm collection)
Desirable: Morning shift from 7:45 AM to 9:15 AM for candidates local and able to do so. Our preference would be to have drop offs covered for 4 days a week but this is negotiable
Optional: Babysitting on Thursday evenings 6.45 -c. 10/11pm and adhoc other evenings (subject to your availability.
Requirements :

Fluency in French.
Proven experience with young children, but attitude more important than length of experience
Clean DBS / police check.
Valid First Aid certification.
Proactive, caring, flexible and enthusiastic
Salary & Benefits :

£16 net/hour (approx. £20 gross/hour).
