ROTA Nanny – Central London
A warm, welcoming and hands-on family based in Central London are seeking an exceptional ROTA nanny to care for their baby girl, currently seven months old, in a long-term position.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a loving, confident and highly experienced nanny who truly adores babies and has a strong understanding of early years development. The role will operate on a two weeks on / two weeks off rota schedule.

The Family
Both parents are very hands-on and deeply involved in their daughter’s day-to-day life. Mum works predominantly from home and Dad is based in an office nearby, and both feel incredibly fortunate to be able to spend this precious time with their little girl.
They are looking for a nanny who works collaboratively with parents — someone confident and secure in their role, who encourages and supports parental involvement, and who understands the importance of working as part of a team. This is not a fully sole-charge environment at all times, but rather a shared-care dynamic built on mutual respect and communication.

The Role
The family are seeking someone super loving, kind, energetic and completely child-focused. The ideal nanny will:
• Be highly intuitive and able to read cues and anticipate needs
• Be proactive and take initiative
• Have excellent baby experience and confidence with routines
• Be calm, steady and reassuring in approach
• Genuinely enjoy being hands-on throughout the day
• Travel abroad with the family
The baby is in a very good routine, although she is not yet consistently sleeping through the night. The nanny should therefore be comfortable supporting her sleep development in a gentle and responsive manner.
Responsibilities
Full nursery duties will be required, including:
• Preparing bottles and managing feeds
• Sterilising equipment
• Monitoring supplies (formula, nappies, wipes etc.)
• Baby laundry
• Keeping the nursery and play spaces organised and tidy
• Planning age-appropriate activities that support development
The nanny should enjoy getting out and about — walks, classes, playgroups and outdoor activities — and be confident navigating London with a baby.

Accommodation During Rota
The family have a separate flat for the nanny’s use while on duty. During overnight/on-call periods, the nanny will share a bedroom space with the baby. However, there is separate private space available in another apartment where the nanny can shower, relax and take personal downtime. The family are thoughtful and respectful of the nanny’s need for rest and privacy within the rota structure. This apartment will also be used by other members of staff plus family however the bedroom and bathroom would be purely for rota nannies.
Travel & Flexibility
The family travel regularly and would love a nanny who enjoys travelling with them. Flexibility is important, as there may occasionally be a need to extend beyond the standard two-week rota period. A positive, adaptable attitude towards travel and scheduling adjustments is essential.

Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
• Have excellent experience with babies under one year
• Be fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Be confident, organised and self-motivated
• Be collaborative and comfortable working alongside hands-on parents
• Be energetic, outdoorsy and proactive
• Demonstrate longevity in previous roles and be seeking a long-term commitment

The right candidate must have an up-to-date DBS. First Aid, Fluent English. Excellent references.
