Job Summary:
A welcoming and down-to-earth family relocating from the USA to Notting Hill are seeking a calm, experienced and proactive Daily Nanny to care for their two young daughters aged 2.5 years and 8 months. Both parents work full-time in professional roles and are looking for a nanny who can provide sole charge care during working hours, maintain structured routines, and confidently support both children’s developmental milestones.
The family value clear communication, emotional intelligence and a calm, talkative approach to childcare, explaining boundaries while maintaining warmth and structure.

Job specification:
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm
• Sole charge care of two children aged 2.5 years and 8 months
• Getting the children ready for the day, preparing bags, and completing nursery/school drop-offs and pick-ups
• Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities including baby and toddler classes, park visits, museums, sensory play, arts & crafts, baking, reading and outdoor exploration
• Proactively organising varied weekly schedules and outings tailored to each child’s developmental stage
• Supporting learning and development, encouraging milestones, language development, independence and social skills
• Maintaining consistent daily routines including feeding, naps and transitions
• Preparing and cooking healthy, light meals and snacks for the children
• Child-related housekeeping including children’s laundry, toy rotation, wardrobe organisation, preparing bags and light child-related admin
• Supporting with dog walks when required
• Occasional babysitting
• Travel with the family (maximum of 2 weeks at a time)

Candidate specification:
• Proven experience working with multiples aged 6 months - 3 years within a private household
• Confident managing two young children at different developmental stages
• Calm under pressure and emotionally regulated
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of early years development and milestones
• Teaching or nursery background beneficial
• High emotional intelligence and able to read the room
• Professional, discreet and understands boundaries within a family home
• Flexible, hands-on and happy to support the household where needed
• Warm, patient, kind and engaging, with a structured but gentle approach
• Happy to travel with the family

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
