Job Specification


An exciting opportunity for an experienced, travel-ready nanny to join a lovely family on their international travels. The family will be travelling to the USA in April (with the final week offered as optional unpaid personal time — accommodation provided), followed by further international travel from May through to mid-August. The role focuses on the care of one little boy aged 2 (nearly 3).

This is a combination of sole and shared care alongside a very involved mother. The nanny will play a key role in supporting the child’s routine, development and wellbeing while travelling, providing a calm, nurturing and engaging presence. The family value a nanny who can create enriching experiences wherever they are based.

When staying in private homes, the nanny will maintain child-related areas to a high standard and prepare nutritious meals for the child. Preparing a little extra for the family on occasion would be warmly appreciated.

The little boy is bright, independent and curious. He particularly enjoys books, imaginative play, puppet shows, nature exploration and cooking activities.

Hours
• 8 hours per day
• Additional babysitting and weekend support as agreed in advance, compensated at overtime rate

Sole and shared care of one child (B2)
Creating enriching, age-appropriate activities and experiences
Encouraging development through play, exploration and routine
Maintaining tidy and organised child-related areas
Preparing healthy, balanced meals for the child
Confidently navigating new locations and travel environments

Requirements

Strong early years knowledge (early childhood education or Montessori background highly sought after)
Proactive, organised and naturally intuitive
Confident traveller with excellent situational awareness
Warm, engaging and calm demeanour
Flexible, discreet and professional
A genuine love of working with young children
Urdu second language a bonus
