After School Nanny
Ref: 1976 — After-school Nanny – Willesden Green, NW2

Start date: ASAP
Location: Willesden Green (NW2), London
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Salary: £17 gross per hour + £2.30/day transport allowance (monthly pay)
Additional hours: Possibility of occasional late evenings (until 7:30 PM, approx. twice/month)
Holiday cover required: Yes, mainly for the baby

We are looking for a responsible and experienced nanny to support a lovely French-speaking family with three children (a baby of 8 months, and two older children aged nearly 6 and 4.5) during after-school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

4:00 PM: Pick up the baby (8 months old) from nursery La Petite École d’Eliana (43 Barn Hill, Wembley – 10 min walk from Wembley Park Station)

4:30 PM: Pick up the two older siblings from the Lycée International de Londres Winston Churchill (10-minute walk from the nursery)

Commute with the three children via the Jubilee Line from Wembley Park to Willesden Green, then a 15-minute walk to the family’s home (Note: No lift at Willesden Green station)

Important: The family prefers the use of a baby carrier for the commute, allowing the nanny to hold both children’s hands. However, the nanny is free to choose the most comfortable method (pushchair or carrier).

Once home:

Supervise shower time and help the older children get into pyjamas

Around 6:30 PM: Prepare the table and reheat the already-prepared dinner

6:45 PM: Supervise the beginning of dinner for the older children

7:00 PM: End of duty

Provide care for the baby until 6:00 PM (including nappy changes, pyjamas, bottle, and meal); one parent will typically take over after that but may request additional support.

Ideal Candidate:

Confident and kind, with experience caring for babies and managing three children simultaneously

Calm and structured, able to implement a clear and consistent evening routine

Emotionally attuned to young children and capable of managing big emotions and occasional tantrums

Reliable and proactive

Holds an Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain them)

French or English-speaking

Must have the right to work in the UK

If you are interested and meet the criteria, please send your CV and references.
