A busy professional family in Richmond, are looking for an experienced Nanny/Cook/Housekeeper.

They have two active children, a baby boy aged 10 months and a boy aged 7 years. The family also have a spaniel puppy, so someone at ease with a bouncy dog is essential. A dog walker is employed.

Days – 5 days per week (Ideally with Saturday included, but negotiable)
Hours: 9/9.30 – 6.30/7-7.30pm (45 hours per week)
Flexibility is needed.
Additional babysitting (Paid separately) On average once a week.

You will be an integral part of a small household team, so a friendly and collaborative spirit is key, with your focus on Cooking, childcare and light household duties. (A part time Housekeeper is employed 3 times a week who has been with the family for 5 years)

We are looking for someone who has a positive, "can-do" attitude, able to manage their time effectively and who possesses a real passion for what they do.

The ideal candidate is a highly organised, discreet, and experienced professional who is a confident cook, comfortable creating delicious and healthy meals for the family (Lunch and dinner) and experienced in the care of young children.

This is a great role for someone who is happy working alongside a busy mum, sharing childcare and taking sole charge when needed.

You will manage all aspects of family meals, to include meal planning, checking stock, shopping and preparation. Childcare will involve keeping the baby happy and entertained when Mum is busy, attending baby classes, school pick-ups and playdates, and generally being a helpful, responsive presence around the home. All duties related to the children are required, to include Nursery Duties.

The family is looking for someone reliable and kind, with impeccable references who is seeking a long-term role.

Responsibilities & Details

A typical week will involve:
Taking care of the children for around 3-4 hours per day.
Cooking family meals daily (Lunch for Mum and Dinner for family)
Ensuring the household is stocked and organised
PA duties related to children, (appointments, shopping, activities)
Weekly babysitting (Additional pay)
Alternate Saturday cover (A Day off in the week)
Traveling with the family to Europe (on average four weeks a year)

Start Date: March 26

Working Week: 5 days a week (with one day off in the week to accommodate a Saturday).
This is a strong preference, but not essential for the right applicant.

Driver preferred, not essential.

Hours: 45 hours per week, plus babysitting

Salary: Circa £55-60,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience
