A professional, high-profile family based in the heart of St John’s Wood is seeking an exceptional, career-focused Nanny to provide dedicated care for their son (who will be 3.5 months old at the start of the role). This is a unique opportunity for a highly qualified professional to take on a role with significant autonomy, shaping the development of a young child within a supportive household.

The Role
The parents lead demanding professional lives and require a nanny who can provide seamless, wrap-around support. You will have full ownership of the child’s daily life (in liaison with the parents wishes), acting as a proactive manager of his schedule, health, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete Childcare Management: Responsible for all nursery duties, child-related appointments, and managing the baby’s daily routine.
Educational Development: Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, researching and scheduling local classes, and fostering a stimulating environment for growth.

Communication & Collaboration: Acting as a trusted advisor to the parents; providing detailed feedback, offering expert advice based on your experience, and ensuring their parenting wishes are upheld to the highest standard.

Administration: Managing the child’s "world"—from sourcing equipment and clothing to organizing future school applications and medical check-ups.

The Ideal Candidate
The family is specifically looking for an intellectually curious, qualified nanny who views childcare through an educational lens.
Background: Must be qualified with a strong educational background (Teaching, Early Years, or similar) in addition to having relevant baby experience from 3-months old.
Experience: Proven longevity in previous roles is essential; the family is looking for a minimum 2-year commitment, with a preference for a long-term nanny who will grow with them.
Profile: You should have a genuine interest in the wider world, bringing additional skills or interests that will enhance the child's upbringing.
Standards: You must possess the highest level of professional standards, discretion, and the ability to maintain a calm, organised environment.

Schedule & Flexibility
The family seeks a candidate who understands the necessity for flexibility:
24-Hour On-Call: 5 or 6 days per week (to be agreed upon).

Accommodation & Household
The family employs a full-time housekeeper, allowing the Nanny to focus purely on the child and his needs.
Initial: A bedroom with an en-suite bathroom within the current family home.
Summer 2026 Onwards: Following a complete home renovation, you will move into a private, brand-new suite featuring bedroom/ en-suite and a separate entrance for maximum independence.
