A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a warm and proactive Au Pair to join a lovely family based in the vibrant SW6 area of London. This permanent, part-time live-in role is perfectly suited for someone who enjoys the balance of childcare and light household organization while becoming a true extension of the family. Starting in April 2026, you will be primarily responsible for the care of a delightful nine-month-old, providing two hours of dedicated attention both before and after their time at nursery.
Your daily routine will involve local nursery drop-offs and 6:00 PM pickups, which are a convenient five-minute walk from the home. Beyond direct childcare, the role includes one hour of daily housekeeping focused on maintaining a tidy environment for the little one, handling their laundry, and preparing nutritious meals. While the primary language of the home is English, candidates who speak German or Danish are highly encouraged to apply, as these languages would be a wonderful bonus for the family.
The position offers a consistent schedule of 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday with a competitive salary of £300 gross per week. This is an ideal placement for an organised individual who values a close-knit family dynamic and a manageable commute in a beautiful part of the city.
