Sole Charge Baby Nanny in Erlangen (near Nürnberg, Germany) | Open to Bilingual, Native English (no visa issues) or native German Candidates
Description:
A warm and welcoming family in Erlangen is seeking a nurturing, development-focused nanny to join them on a long-term basis and support their 12-month-old baby during this exciting stage of growth. This position can be offered as either live-out or live-in. The family is open to native English-speaking candidates (with no visa restrictions) as well as bilingual or German-speaking nannies. Applicants must be ready to relocate to Erlangen and happy to commit for at least two years. The ideal nanny is reliable, proactive, and confident in sole-charge care. Strong communication and teamwork skills are important, as the role involves close collaboration with the family.

Duties:
· Supporting daily routines and age-appropriate development (e.g., outdoor activities, sensory play, baby groups)
· Assisting with naps, feeding, and general wellbeing
· Light nursery-related tasks (baby laundry, meal prep, tidying play and sleep areas)

Requirements:
· Minimum three years of professional childcare experience, especially with babies
· Infant First Aid certification (current or willingness to update)
· Independent, well-organized, and proactive, non-smoker
· Highly reliable with excellent punctuality

Additional Information:
35–38 hours per week. Monday - Friday
Approx. 11:00–18:00 daily · Occasional adjustments during childcare centre closures
The Home & Location: The family lives in a spacious 120 m² garden-level apartment in Erlangen, a vibrant university town with great amenities. Public transport is excellent - a bus stop is one minute from the home and the main train station is just ten minutes away.
