Mum (American) and dad (Danish) are a relaxed, friendly, and easy-going family seeking a warm and reliable part-time nanny to support their three children (G6, B11, B14) during after-school hours and full days in school holidays. The role focuses mainly on G6 & B11. Both parents have demanding work schedules, and Mum is away frequently, so they value consistency, calm organisation, and a nanny who can confidently manage afternoons and evenings.
The nanny will provide structured, nurturing care in the afternoons and early evenings, supporting school routines, activities, homework, and bedtime—particularly for G6.
There may also be opportunities to travel with the family during holidays.
The family has a Personal Assistant who manages school administration, clubs, and logistics, allowing the nanny to focus fully on childcare.

Duties & Responsibilities
• School pick-up for G6
• Managing after-school routines and transitions
• Supporting and coordinating after-school activities and clubs
• Supervising homework and schoolwork (private tutors already in place, online and in person)
• Ensuring B11 attends and logs into his online tuition sessions
• Preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
• Supporting G6 bedtime routine
• Arranging and supervising playdates
• Engaging the children in creative, sporting, and outdoor activities
• Light childcare-related duties as needed
• Providing additional support during school holidays, including full-day care
• Occasional travel with the family (optional and discussed in advance)

Requirements
• Proven experience as a nanny, particularly in after-school or part-time roles
• Confident supporting homework and routines for multiple children
• Warm, patient, and calm nature
• Organised and reliable, especially with schedules and commitments
• Comfortable using public transport (no car required)
• Flexible and proactive, able to adapt to changing schedules
• Clear and consistent communicator with parents
• Right to work in the UK

Working Hours
Term Time:
• Monday–Thursday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
• Friday: 2:00pm – 7:00/8:00pm
School Holidays:
• Holiday hours to be discussed and agreed ahead of each break, but will approximately be: 8am-7/8pm Monday to Friday.

Salary: Circa £38-£42k gross annual. (£23-£25 p/h)
