Part-Time Nanny Role in SW14 (Mortlake/East Sheen Area) - Kind, Organised & Fun!
A warm and welcoming family in SW14 is seeking a nurturing, organised, and energetic Part-Time Nanny to care for their three lovely children.

About the Family & Children
Ages: 2.5 years old, 5 years old, and 7 years old.

Location: SW14 (excellent local amenities).

School/Nursery: All are within walking distance of each other and the family home. The youngest attends a local nursery, and the elder two attend a local school.

Working Days & Hours
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Contracted Hours: 21 hours per week.

Hours: Flexible options, ideally:

Option 1: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Option 2: 11:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Shorter Hours Considered: We are happy to discuss and accommodate a slightly shorter working day, but the core requirement is coverage from 4:00 PM onwards for the busy after-school period.

Salary & Contract Details
Hourly Rate: £20.00 Gross per hour.

Annual Gross Salary: Based on 21 hours per week, the gross annual salary is £21,840.00.

Additional Hours: The family is happy to offer additional hours, including occasional evening babysitting, weekend hours, and extra hours during school holidays if wanted (this is not mandatory).

Driving Requirements
Essential Requirement: Applicants must be confident drivers.

Need for Driving: Driving is essential for transporting the children to and from after-school activities, including a regular commitment to Tennis in Roehampton.

Car Provision: The family will either provide a car for work use, or mileage will be paid for the nanny's personal car.

Parking: Free street parking is available for the nanny while working.

Nanny Duties
This is a mix of childcare and proactive 'nursery duties' to keep the household running smoothly.

Afternoon Childcare (4:00 PM onwards):
Collections: Collecting the children from their local nursery and school.

Activities: Driving the children to after-school activities (e.g., Tennis in Roehampton).

Homework Support: Supervising and supporting the 5 and 7-year-olds with their homework.

Meal Preparation: Preparing a simple, healthy, and nutritious evening meal from scratch for the children.

General Care: Ensuring the children are happy, safe, engaged, and well-cared for until the parents return.

Morning/Daytime Duties (While Children are at School):
Nursery Duties: Focusing on all things related to the children (e.g., ensuring uniform/kit is ready, tidying their rooms/play areas, organising toys).

Light Household Duties: Folding and putting away the children's clean washing.

Household Organisation: Tiding main communal areas (a cleaner is employed twice a week for deep cleaning).

Proactive Tasks: Errands, menu planning, and some batch cooking/freezer prep.

The Ideal Candidate
Demonstrably kind, warm, and engaging with children of all ages.

Highly organised and proactive, capable of managing three children and a schedule.

A confident cook who can prepare simple, healthy meals from scratch.

Must be reliable, responsible, and a clear communicator.

Previous experience as a Nanny/Child carer is essential.
