A wonderful family in South Derbyshire are looking for a live in nanny/housekeeper for their 2 and a half year old child and newborn twins who are expected in March 2026.

The eldest child is currently in nursery 3 days a week and will be attending full time once the twins arrive.

The ideal candidate would have experience with newborns, ideally twins, and also a great understanding of the toddler stages to support with development. The family are looking for a nanny who can create engaging activities for the children and has a muck in attitude. A nanny who is responsible and mature would be the perfect match.

Responsibilities include: working alongside mum, assisting with all personal care of the children including changing, bathing, settling and keeping to their routines, organising fun activities to support their development, supporting mum in all postnatal care, occasional nursery drop offs/pick ups, nursery duties such as children's laundry, cooking for the children, organising their bedrooms, toys and clothes. Housekeeping requirements: cooking for the whole family, all of the families laundry and ironing and general tidying.

The housekeeping requirements will reduce once the twins are born and the responsibilities will focus on childcare.

The family are ideally looking for a confident driver and this would be a high preference for them.

Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Before the twins are born: 7am - 11am and 4pm - 8pm Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
After the twins are born the hours may change slightly or the family may request the nanny to work some nights still totalling 40 hours per week
Salary: £32,000 gross per annum
