We are working with a VIP client based in St John’s Wood to assist in hiring a part-time nanny to support her soon-to-be 10-year-old son. The Principal leads an incredibly busy lifestyle and requires a reliable, engaging caregiver who can provide consistent after-school support, supervise homework, and accompany him to his various activities. This is a key role for a warm, proactive nanny who can offer stability and create a positive after-school routine.

The position is Monday to Thursday, starting from 3/4pm for approximately five hours each evening. The nanny must have their own car and a full driving licence, as school pick-ups and transport to extracurricular activities are essential components of the role.

Key Responsibilities

– Collect the child from school each afternoon
– Safely drive him to and from planned activities and appointments
– Provide consistent supervision and primary care until the Principal returns home
– Support with homework and encourage good study habits
– Prepare simple, healthy snacks and evening meals as required
– Create a calm, structured after-school routine
– Maintain clear communication with the Principal regarding schedules and updates
– Ensure safety, well-being and age-appropriate boundaries at all times
– Assist with organising school bags, uniforms and activity equipment
– Foster a positive, nurturing environment that supports his independence and confidence
– Manage occasional ad hoc tasks relating to the child’s schedule

Ideal Candidate

– Must be based in London
- Experienced nanny with a strong background caring for school-aged children
