A wonderful and welcoming family is seeking an experienced SEN Nanny to provide afterschool care for their lively and affectionate 7-year-old daughter. She is a kind, energetic little girl who responds best to warmth, consistency, and clear routines. She is currently in the process of being assessed for ADHD and autism, with formal assessments beginning in January.

Key Responsibilities
School pick-up and safe transport home (driver essential).
Providing calm, nurturing afterschool care and supervision.
Creating structure and supporting emotional regulation, transitions, and routines.
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities suited to her high-energy personality.
Cooking healthy meals for the child each afternoon.
Light family support where needed.
Maintaining open, positive communication with parents about daily progress and needs.

Pets
The family has three friendly Labradors who have their own walkers.
A pet-friendly nanny is essential (no pet care required).

Requirements
Strong experience working with children with SEN, especially ADHD/ASD profiles.
Warm, patient and consistent approach with excellent behavioural management skills.
Confident driver with a clean licence.
Comfortable with dogs in the home.
Ability to create a structured, calm environment for a child with high energy.
Confident in preparing nutritious meals for the child.
Reliable, discreet, and a clear communicator.
