Full-Time Daily Nanny Role – Teddington – January Start | Shared Care, Sole Charge & Essential Baby Experience

We are delighted to be assisting a wonderful, easy-going family in Teddington in their search for an experienced, professional Full-Time Daily Nanny. This is a superb opportunity for a Nanny with proven expertise caring for babies and young children to join a relaxed household, working closely in partnership with Mum, while also being confident and capable of taking sole charge of all three children.

About the Family and Role
The Family: A happy, warm, and easy-going household. Mum is currently on maternity leave, and the family is keen to find a professional Nanny who can comfortably provide excellent care for the baby when Mum steps away.

The Dual Role: This position begins predominantly as shared care with Mum. However, candidates must be fully prepared and experienced to transition into periods of sole charge of all three children as Mum phases back into work and eventually returns full-time. The Nanny must be happy and competent to care for a newborn and two older children simultaneously in sole charge.

The Vibe: We are seeking a Nanny who is fun, energetic, and wonderfully playful. The older children would adore someone who is happy to be silly, encouraging their active, imaginative play, and stepping comfortably into a 'big sister' type role to be a truly engaging companion.

The Children:

Newborn Baby (Shared Care initially, moving to Sole Charge)

Boy, 4 years

Girl, 7 years

Key Duties
The role involves a mix of shared and sole charge, child-focused activities, and light household duties (a cleaner is employed).

Experienced, shared care of the newborn baby with Mum (initially).

Confident Sole Charge care of all three children, including the newborn, when Mum is working or out. This is why strong baby experience is critical.

Providing engaging, fun, and active care for the older children, acting as a playful mentor and companion.

School pick-up and drop-off (local).

Children's meal planning and preparation.

Nursery duties, plus some light help around the home.

Please note: The family has one cat.

Start date and Salary
Start Date: Mid to End of January

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 50 hours per week (Hours in the region of 8am start and 7pm finish)

The Nanny will benefit from a half-day finish every Friday. Some flexibility is required.

Salary: Circa £18 - £20 Gross per annum, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Candidate Specification
The ideal candidate will be a highly professional, polished, and confident Experienced Nanny with a kind, caring, and 'can-do attitude'.

Essential Requirements:

Strong, proven experience as a Nanny caring for children within a private family setting.

Mandatory: Good experience caring for newborn babies and throughout their development (infancy/toddlerhood).

Must be happy and confident working in both shared care and sole charge capacities, particularly managing three children, including a newborn.

Demonstrable experience caring for multiple children, including both babies and school-aged children.

A fun, active, and happy disposition with a genuine desire to be a playful

Excellent communication skills for a close partnership with Mum.

A driver is not required.
