This is a long-term opportunity for a nanny seeking to join a kind, friendly family in a well-structured and positive working environment. The family are looking for a full-time nanny to join their household based in Ealing. The family have three delightful children aged 9, 7, and 5, all attending the same local school. They are ideally looking for a live-in nanny but will also consider a live-out wraparound arrangement for the right candidate.
You will benefit from your own private bedroom and bathroom situated on the top floor of the home, offering comfort and privacy.
The role centres on providing high-quality care and support for three school-aged children. Responsibilities include morning routine, the school run, supporting after-school, assisting with homework, and creating a fun, engaging environment.
Light housekeeping is required and will focus on child-related tasks such as children’s laundry, maintaining tidy play areas, and general nursery duties. The family employs a cleaner twice a week who handles all deep cleaning and adult laundry.
During school hours, the nanny will be asked to assist with daily dog walking and other household tasks such as dry-cleaning drop-offs and collections, wrapping gifts, helping with child-related tasks, and taking the family car for servicing. Driving is essential.
The family is looking for a confident cook who can prepare healthy, nutritious meals for the children. When time allows, preparation of simple family meals would be appreciated.
Both parents work full time and have a dedicated home office separate from the main living space. The family are extremely supportive and hands-on, and the children are well-mannered and a pleasure to care for. There will be opportunities to travel with the family during school holidays, although this is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, warm, organised, and experienced in caring for children. A genuine love of children, confidence in the kitchen, and comfort around dogs are important for this role.
