Job Summary:
We are looking for a warm, experienced and self-motivated Part Time Housekeeper Cook to help keep our home running smoothly and beautifully. You’ll be working in a peaceful village setting just outside Leamington Spa, supporting a friendly family with three school aged children (8, 10 and 12), two small dogs, and a cat.

We’re a relaxed but busy household, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, loves animals, and is happy to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Our home is a spacious 8 bedroom property with a guest cottage, and we travel regularly — so someone confident managing the home solo is ideal.

Job specification:

Housekeeping & Household Management

• Daily cleaning of all rooms, monthly deep cleans
• Laundry care: washing, ironing, steaming, seasonal wardrobe rotation
• Linen and towel changes, cupboard organization
• Preparing the cottage for guests
• Managing cleaning supplies and equipment

Kitchen & Dining

• General cooking help, food prep, and fridge/pantry organisation
• Table setting, dishwashing, silver polishing
• Taking grocery deliveries and stock rotation

Childcare (Light)

• Light children’s meals and school kit organization

Personal Assistant Duties

• Meeting tradesmen and handling deliveries
• Running errands (e.g., dry cleaning, shopping, returns)

Candidate specification:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Flexible, proactive, and discreet
• A self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Experienced in household management and cleaning
• Confident and enjoys cooking
• Pet and child friendly – family have 2 small dogs and a cat
• A confident driver with your own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
• Fluent in English with good communication skills

Enhanced DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
