A warm and knowledgeable Nightly Maternity Nurse is required to support a lovely couple expecting their first baby. They are keen to start off by building healthy sleep and feeding habits from the beginning, and gain confidence as new parents.

Job summary: The parents are first timers who value guidance, reassurance, and an open-minded approach. Mum hopes to breastfeed, though she understands it can come with challenges—she’s seen friends struggle and would appreciate someone who can share practical knowledge and gentle support to help her find what works best for her. As she is still figuring out her overall approach to early parenting, they’re seeking a maternity nurse who can provide balanced options rather than a strict, one-way system.Dad will have limited time off work, so ensuring he can rest is also important—this is part of the reason they’re seeking overnight support.

Candidate requirements:
• Skilled at helping parents develop good routines and habits from the beginning.
• Able to communicate clearly, reassure gently, and adapt as the family finds its rhythm.
• knowledgeable in newborn care, sleep shaping, and feeding (including breastfeeding support).
• Open-minded, respectful of the family’s preferences, and able to offer a range of options.
